review 1: I chose to read "The Infinite Sea" because it was the sequel of a book I liked a lot. I had high expectations and although it didn't completely meet my expectations it was still pretty good.I was impressed by how much the characters have changed since the first book. Cassie kept her humanity and you could still kind of see what she was like before he invasion but now that Cassie is gone. Cassie says, Get ready, because when you crush the humanity out of humans, you're left with humans with no humanity." Another character who changed is Ben. I didn't expect him to become such a leader. For example, when deciding whether or not to kill someone who might possibly be innocent it says, "No, Ben. We can't do that... His hands shook. 'I can'." This showed me how Ben is willing t... moreo make hard choices now. This boo was significant to me because it showed me that when tings get hard is when you need to try your hardest.
review 2: THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD, I WANT TO CRY. Rick Yancey is most definitely one of my favourite authors. His writing is phenomenal, his plot and characters written with immaculate precision. Though this book didn't include anywhere near as much action as The 5th Wave did, it made up for it with everything else. An amazing sequel that has left me horribly in need of the final book and I recommend that you read this series as soon as possible. less
