Nevermore
review 1: "Nevermore" a word that a raven says to man in a time of grief. The Raven and many other stories from Edgar Allen Poe inspired this book. Yet all the emotions and thought put into it makes you look up the facts and want more from the book. Varen a character with secrets that get Isobel a popular cheerleader into his world of dreams. But Varen's world is not letting go of him so easy, Pinfeathers and Reynolds come and seek to keep him in his dream world. This book isn't something you can just read and understand, its a challenge to which then leads to you discovering a dream world you didn't even know could be real. The book references it makes and how it is all well put together does't make it a classic gothic/mystery book. “So.[Isobel] cleared her throat. "What ar... moree we doing?" "We, [Varen] said at last, are doing a project on Poe." "Didn't he marry his cousin or something?" "The man is a literary god and that's all you have to say?” Poe's work is all over the book which makes it interesting. This book is in my opinion for those with an opened mind and who love poetry. First of three books and the ending is to die for. You will enter a dream world that you would have never imagined to be real, you will let your mind into new ways of thinking and into an author whose life was a was a mystery all the way to his death. "The nocs, the nocs.." This book is one of my favorites, not only because of how its well put together, but the imagination Kelly Creagh has put into it.
review 2: One of the best trilogies I've ever read! I cannot wait until the last installment, Oblivion coming out in 2015! I loved the starting of this beautiful story between Isobel and Varen and since i've read the first two books a long time ago, I have no problem (and am actually looking forward to) rereading them before I buy/start Oblivion. The only thing I can say about Oblivion was the disappointment I felt when finding out that the publication date which was originally set for August 26th, 2014 but then announced that the release date was postponed for July 2015. The wait will be worth it, I guess. less

This was an alright book. The writing wasn't very captivating, but it held some interest in it.

Is not the typical story so that's what makes it much fun and awsome to read about.
